Here are some of the questions I get asked most often. Have a different question for which you can't find here? Send me an email to get in touch with me, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
- Where do you live?
- I'm currently living in the city of College Station, Texas, as of the year 2025. Prior to this, I lived in Seoul, South Korea until 2023.
- What exactly do you do?
- I'm a graduate student researching physics-based modeling and computer animation. I'm also passionate about optimizing computer graphics applications - making them faster and more efficient. I develop software that helps create realistic visual effects and interactive experiences.
- Why you do it?
- I believe in advancing our understanding of natural phenomena through computational methods. Beyond the scientific pursuit, I want to make these technologies accessible so that everyone can tell their meaningful stories through computer graphics and interactive techniques.
- How you do it?
- I work on physics-based modeling that simulates the real world through numerical computing techniques. I translate these mathematical models into efficient computer programs to create plausible simulations of natural phenomena.
